Last week, CS Global Partners launched a new podcast called Plan B. The podcast details all things related to Citizenship by Investment (CBI) in the Caribbean, specifically in St Kitts and Nevis and Dominica. Aside from addressing the top news of the week in the investor immigration and CBI industry, the under ten-minute episodes provides intelligent citizenship solutions in an easy and short format, suitable for both investor immigration professionals and those considering the route of CBI.
In its pilot episode, host Aisha Mohamed, a PR and Communications Officer at CS Global Partners, invited industry expert Beatrice Gatti, the Head of Government Advisory Practice at CS Global Partners’ London headquarters. The episode discussed the history of CBI in the Caribbean and its growing demand around the globe. It also brought to light the notion that second citizenship now doubled as Plan B for many in unexpected times.
The head of St Kitts and Nevis’ CIU, Les Khan recently compared CBI to an insurance policy in a webinar. In response, Gatti explained that CBI insured “against the risks that are associated with one’s citizenship of origin.” These risks could entail anything from social turmoil and political instability to a lack of freedom or economic uncertainly while also providing a better quality of life, health, education and lucrative markets and business opportunities, she added.
Upcoming episodes will bring on other expert guests and touch on everything from investor and nation benefits to the rise of CBI in China and Russia.
