St Kitts and Nevis and North Macedonia have signed a mutual visa waiver agreement. Citizens of both countries can enter, exit and travel through nations without a visa.
Visa Waiver Strengthens Diplomatic Ties
On the 15th of December 2020, St Kitts and Nevis High Commissioner, Dr Kevin M. Isaacs signed the visa waiver agreement with Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Alexsandra Miovska.
The visa waiver agreement brings the two countries closer together and holds high regard to the leadership as well as the people of St Kitts and Nevis and North Macedonia.
The new diplomatic ties between the dual island nation and North Macedonia are a step towards excellent tourism and business travel, which will enhance the relations between these two countries.
“Proud today to sign visa waiver agreement between St Kitts and Nevis and North Macedonia through our high representatives in London. St Kitts and Nevis look forward to deeper people to people contacts between our two countries,” tweeted Mark Brantley, the Foreign Minister of St Kitts and Nevis.

Aleksandra Miovska, Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to the United Kingdom, also took to Twitter on the day and said, “After establishing diplomatic relations in 2019, today I had the pleasure of signing the first agreement between North Macedonia and St Kitts and Nevis with Dr Kevin Isaac, High Commissioner of St Kitts and Nevis on the exemption of visa requirements.”

St Kitts and Nevis continues to establish relations across the globe. Recently, St Kitts and Nevis signed diplomatic ties with the Kingdom of Jordan through their High Representatives in London. The dual island nation currently has a visa-free passage to nearly 160 destinations around the world.
