Submission of Physical Applications Suspended in Grenada

On 18 March 2020, the Government of Grenada announced a new system for the submission of applications to the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Effective from 20 March 2020, Grenada suspended the requirement for submission of hard copies of applications to its Citizenship by Investment Unit until further notice, or until the implementation of the ‘CBI Management Online Information System’ platform. The online platform is expected to be in operation by 31 March 2020.

What does this update mean for me?

If you are in the process of applying for citizenship by investment in Grenada, you will still need to send scanned copies of your application documents to Grenada through your Authorised Local Agent. Until 31 March, your Local Authorised Agent will scan and submit applications to the Unit via Dropbox.

Grenada retains the right to request the provision of the physical application at a later stage, so ensure you send all your documents to your Authorised Agent for speedy submission upon request.
