On 26 March 2020, Grenada’s new Consulate General in Dubai announced it had become operational. In an email, H.E. Ms Rose-Ann Benjamin, the Grenada Consul General, said that people should “feel free to contact [the Consulate] at any time.
Ms Benjamin also took the opportunity to remind people to stay safe during the global pandemic and to ask that people “act now together and without exception.” She said the Consulate counted on everyone’s commitment to safety and wellbeing and expressed her good wishes for the three islands that make up the nation of Grenada: Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
What does this mean for me?
If you are a Grenadian citizen living in the UAE, you will now be able to access a Consulate that is close to you and able to deliver quick solutions.
People commonly contact their consulate after having lost their passport, as consulates can sometimes help obtain temporary, emergency travel documents. A Consulate may also help you with information about living, working, and getting married abroad, among other things.
How can I find out more about the Consulate?
